I couldn’t help myself; I found it nearly impossible to narrow it down to a few choice images from this sweet vintage-inspired wedding, so I’ve included a TON. The bow tie, the bridesmaids’ floral dresses, super-sweet florals, scrumptious looking food, and — most of all — the glowing & delightfully happy couple!

Thanks to photographer Mike Reed for capturing these stunning shots of Lindsay and Shaun’s wedding at Barr Mansion! This August ceremony was a classic affair, with a palette of purples and the bride in a stunning lace gown. Romance was in full bloom, as were the many flowers adorning the ceremony. The bride, groom, and their joyous friends and family enjoyed a Second Harvest feast in our glass-windowed reception hall, and the happy couple embarked on their married life with well-wishes from all those around them.
Austinites Katie and Joe do things their own way, and their sweet and eclectic outdoor wedding was full of the quirks that make this couple so unique. The colors red and teal were featured throughout the day, and our First Harvest meal complemented the adorable cupcakes the couple chose instead of the traditional wedding cake. Barr Mansion is proud to host local couples on their big days and to customize the wedding ceremony to fit the unique personality of each couple. Thanks to Ginger Diaz for the beautiful photographs.
When Sharon and Jay wed at Barr Mansion in June, their colorful ceremony was a sight for sore eyes! The bride wore a feathery full-length gown accented by a vibrant bouquet of brightly colored flowers. The focus was on local and seasonal, from the succulent boutonnieres worn by the groom and his groomsmen to the succulent Second Harvest feast enjoyed by the happy couple and their guests in our glass-windowed reception hall. Ayn and Laurent took advantage of the gorgeous Austin weather at the end of April for their outdoor wedding at Barr Mansion. Their glamorous reception featured stunning floral centerpieces, and an array of delicacies both sweet and savory to complement our First Harvest feast. Thanks to Stella Alessi for the photographs.
Lindsey and Nam chose a theme of classic white for their outdoor May wedding at Barr Mansion. Their ceremony was awash in beautiful blooms, and the blushing bride looked lovely in her elegant sleeveless gown. The guests enjoyed our seasonal First Harvest feast in our beautiful wood-accented reception hall, which was decked out with yet more delicate white flowers to celebrate the happy couple’s big day.
